Come join us for our first Freedom Hike of 2022!

We are starting the new year with the popular Railroad Tunnel Trail at Lake Mead.

The plan is to meetup at 8:00 am at the very easy to find parking lot/trailhead. Which is before the booth where they check passes/collect entrance fees. So there's no charge to enter.

How far we go we can gauge as we go along. The round trip from the trailhead to Hoover Dam is 8.2 miles. Afterwards, there is a BBQ place in Boulder City we can meet afterwards for lunch or a drink.

Don't worry if you aren't sure if you're libertarian enough for this crowd. If you love freedom or love hiking, or both, you will fit right in.

Suggestions:

Bring lots of water and drink lots of water before you get there.

Thick soled, comfortable sneakers or hiking boots are suggested.
